All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir

4.0

Buddy read with Akacya! <3

All My Rage is a beautifully written story of struggle. Sabaa Tahir's writing is amazing and had me going through so many emotions while reading. I did not know what to expect going into this except that it was sad and it definitely delivered on that point. This story was so well written in both plot and characters, and had me on the edge of my seat at all times.

Reading about two people of colour going to high school in a predominately white school was a teensy bit relatable... and Noor and Salahudin's experiences had me screaming, crying AND throwing up.
I also want to add that even though I was not able to relate to Noor and Salahudin's struggles as muslim teens, it does not make their experiences (or Sabaa's) wrong or any less valid. Everyone has their own settings, circumstances and experiences to create a relationship with faith.

I cannot wait to read Sabaa's other books in the future and sincerely hope she writes more like this one. Please check the trigger warnings before going into this book as well!
