Logan is the epitome of a red flag - yikes!

This book was pretty fast-paced and addictive to read. It’s almost a YA version of You, but not as violent yet still filled with creepiness, especially from Logan’s point of view. Speaking of which, I liked how this had dual POV. Through Logan’s perspective, you can see how he tries to justify everything he’s doing because he’s “in love” and he’s a “nice guy” (nothing he does is justifiable or romantic, let’s just get that out of the way ). And from Delilah’s point of view, you get to know more about her beyond Logan’s warped perfect idea of her.

Sometimes the story and some characterizations felt a little shallow or held back details I wanted to know. The ending also felt abrupt and I wish there was at least an epilogue about what happened after. Despite this though, I really liked reading it. I’m not sure if the author’s other book at the end, The New Girl, is a sequel, prequel, or just in the same world, but I would still check it out.

Side note: you should definitely check out this YouTube video by The Take about “The Nice Guy” trope. I kept thinking of Logan and how he checked off so many of those boxes on how the “nice guy” isn’t so nice.
