Until We Surrender
by Lilly Henderson
I really enjoyed this story. The main characters Lauren and Henry were so sweet and relatable that we could see them as one of our friends.
Their story begins with them as friends who have feelings for each other and through out the book they act on those and give us all the butterflies we can have because of all their sweetness and spicyness.
In between the romance their story envolves both characters problems, traumas and fears, and we can see them evolve together and with their friends support (I really enjoy good friends as side characters. It always give hope that they have their own storyes afterwards...).
I've also rediscovered Henry's therapeutic song. Nostalgic but so beautiful... . It is a really good choice for those melancholic moments.
Lilly's books were a new but very good discovery this year. I can't wait to see what comes next!
