Feast of Sparks

I was a little scared going into this one; now that they've all gotten it out of their system, would there be way more sex or would we scale it back down to 1 big sex scene? And I have to say (unpopular opinion incoming) the sparse scenes of intimacy served this book well. The novel starts off with a lot of sex but then conflict is implemented so we have to spend some time telling a story and earning trust, which I really enjoyed. What can I say? Maybe I am a romantic at heart.
The character work in this was great, I loved reading Saint's POV more than anything, but I liked the inclusion of the third person POV around the midway point to give everyone an unfiltered moment. I also did not think we would be raising theological questions in this yet again but here we are! I eat that shit up like 2-for-1 McChicken.
And the ending...... sorry but that was very funny to me. Honestly a great way to end the book, I am genuinely shocked. As you can see, I didn't dislike that bit enough for it to reflect in my overall rating. Curious to see how they deal with this in the next installment
