This book was a pleasant read full of silly, fluffy banter that I enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would. There were definitely a few excerpts that I snapped for friends that are especially hilarious out of context.
The themes touched are represented with a sense of accuracy that I can appreciate a lot from a Romance novel. After numerous other reads in a row where I felt like I had no stakes in the outcomes of the character, this one was satisfying.
Reserving the last 0.5 star mostly due to feelings about the spicy scenes, but I'll omit mentioning those complaints since I am pretty sure explicit scenes are simply not for me, and I would rather not make unfair commentary.
