This was my first Olivia Dade book, and I will definitely read more. Dade has a distinct voice to her work, one that is more verbose than I'm used to reading in romance books. Sometimes I felt like she was trying to hit a word count, but most of the time I really liked it.
I didn't understand the layout of the spite house for most of the book, so that was sort of confusing. Sometimes I got so lost in her descriptions. I also thought the love triangle was a little strange, yet it was resolved so quickly. The whole third act breakup was rushed and weird. I don't like a third act breakup especially when it is rushed like this. I just didn't find it necessary.
I loved the audiobook. I thought it was very well done, and I can't wait to read Dade's other books like this.
