The Age of Em: Work, Love, and Life When Robots Rule the Earth
by Robin Hanson
More a meditation on Hanson's other major preoccupations in a very hypothetical future than anything else. Clearly written and very accessible. The principal conceit, that emulation will precede AI, is worth thinking about and discussed early in the book.
