one of my first Danielle Steel novels, i read this when i was about 13 for the first time and fell in love with Steel's work. Whist her writting style does greatly annoy me (especially her use of the words perfect, perfect and to perfection) I can get over that because she creates characters that you can fall in love with. Whilst not always believeable, you can forgive her for it as she still gives you a good story.
