Love to Hate You
by Jo Watson
I have given this 3.5 stars, but it is a very good 3.5 stars. This was picked for a book club i go to, and when i looked it up and saw it was a romance book, I wasn’t thrilled- It’s not something I’d usually go for.
How wrong was I!. When buying on the kindle store, it is described as ‘The hit romantic comedy of 2018’ And i think that sums it up great. To me, as someone who isn’t really into romance novels, it was a bit cliche, it had all the markings of a typical romance book and i saw quite a lot of it coming, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying it, and i was constantly laughing out loud and smiling at what was going on...(i must of looked like a lunatic). The characters were great, the plot was great-there wasn’t too much there to make it drag. I would love to read another story about Sera and Ben.
I may venture into more romance novels in the future thanks to this book.
