I don’t think there’s anything I could say about this book that hasn’t been said already, but it definitely lived up to its hype. I’d seen a review that called this faerie beauty and the beast, and that definitely summed up a good portion of it. I will say I put off reading it because booktok made it sound like it was just straight up smut for 400 pages, but there’s really only two scenes that would qualify, and the plot was actually much more engaging than I was expecting. I’ll definitely be continuing the series, especially because I’m having mixed feelings about Tamlin and Rhysand and I just know the next book is going to get messy.
