Sorry, I did not like this one. For me, only books 1 and 2 have been worth reading so far (because 2 is actually good, and 1 is a prologue).

I have never liked Nesta as a character. She's a nasty, strongheaded sister in sort of a cliche way; her headstrong reactions in dangerous situations in the earlier books just aren't believable. I also haven't really found her lovable, although this book
redeems
her in a predictable way.

Feyre is  flatter in this book, in which she's less of a protagonist. Most of the characters are a bit flatter.

The idea of Nesta's character arc in this book has some interest and depth to it, but its execution just didn't do it for me. Too many parts had me cringing or rolling my eyes (the
love interest
, the
friendship bracelets
- really?). This book felt younger and less sophisticated, clunky in its overt attempt to have a strong female protagonist.

Some parts of the end were intriguing, mostly the
Blood Rite
. The final
birth
scene is also somewhat engaging.

I'll still read the next book because I'm kind of in it with the series at this point, and in the hopes that it's as good as the second book. I hope it's not about Elain.
