kera88 's review for:
This book is not really about the accident or the mistaken identity, but that is pretty apparent from the first page. This is a book about faith, the families involved in this story are full believers in God and they want to use this time in their lives to spread the Word.
This is an important fact to know when looking at this book, every page has a Bible verse, and every page has faith. This is not a book about how it all happened, it is about how they handled everything that did happen.
This is the reason for all the mixed reviews, people start reading the book for the story of this terrible accident and the events after but that is not what the families wrote. The families went through these events and came out stronger in their faith and wanting to share that faith.
3 stars: the book was a simple read, 2 days done. the way these families handles the events in the story is one part hard to believe another part amazing. this is more of a devotional then a story of true events. (this is not the type of book I would generally read but it was easy to read so why not)
I hesitate to say anything bad about this book, because this is a true story and who am I to judge how they handle such grief. I do wish they would have done maybe a short 1 year or 2 year later update on everyones lives now. otherwise this is a good book as long as you realize what you are about to read. (which I think is pretty obvious from the beginning)
