The Prodigal Son by Sara Cate

Isaac, the youngest Goode brother, ran away at 17 when his sexuality wasn’t accepted by his family (specifically his dad). he pursued his musical endeavors and made himself into Theo Virgil, country music star. Jensen Miles has only known the church and being a pastor. meeting his favorite music artist Theo Virgil wasn’t part of the plan and the walls he built to keep the one thing he was hiding from the world start to crumble

this book was everything I wanted it to be and more. I loved Isaac and Jensen’s connection even when they didn’t fully know each others trauma and how deeply they cared for the wellbeing of each other. every time they were apart due to Isaac touring and them coming back together made my heart so happy🥹 they both deserved the world after all the challenges they faced

this was such a perfect ending to The Goode Brothers! I know I’m going to miss this series so much😭 the anticipation for Isaac’s story was so high for me and it reached all my expectations. I’m not a religious person but something about religious trauma really gets to me

what to expect:
🎤 MM romance
🎤 country music star/pastor
🎤 hurt/comfort
🎤 …daddy?👀
🎤 dual POV
