The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire by Molly Harper

3.0

Series: Half-Moon Hollow #3
Rating: 3 stars - I liked it

Gigi Scanlon is all grown up and starting her new job working for the vampire council. A new job isn’t all Gigi has to deal with though, the mysterious vampire that kissed her at Christmas is back, but now he wants to hurt her, sometimes.

Gigi’s story technically started in the novella [b:I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas|19166108|I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas (Half-Moon Hollow, #2.7)|Molly Harper|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1386114520l/19166108._SX50_.jpg|27206862], which also gave us the first glimpse of Nik. Gigi is the youngest heroine in this series so far and she brought a lighthearted tone that I really enjoyed, especially with all the pop culture references. She also made some questionable decisions that would make sense for someone as young as her. I liked Gigi because she was extremely smart, dedicated, and a natural leader. While this is her first job, she handles work situations like a pro.

Nik was an interesting and surprisingly fun hero. He was surprisingly lighthearted most of the time, even while under all the stress of the curse. I liked him even though he was a lot older than Gigi. The mystery of his curse was an interesting and fun journey. I wasn’t expecting the culprit at first but by the time they were revealed I had figured it out mostly. I was glad to see Ophelia finally be put in her place though because she really needed to be knocked off her high horse.

Overall this was another fun and hilarious adventure for Half-Moon Hollows. I can’t wait to see what will happen in the next book, especially with Amanda Ronconi doing a wonderful job narrating all the different characters in this series.
