I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick, easy and insightful read. Without realizing it, there have been many situations where I have offered unsolicited advice to friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances. It is so easy to do, but it is even easier (and perhaps less stressful) to simply offer validation. I did notice I have a few of the phrases down already that I said to invite venting/offering validation when listening and speaking with others.

I liked the real world situations because they were relatable and easy to see how the different scenarios and conversations could have varied greatly.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will be referring back to it and recommending it. Thank you Michael Sorensen.
