F*ck You Haiku promised to be a book of funny, clever, breakup poems to help sooth your heartache and or make you laugh. Poems that shout a big middle finger in the air at your ex.
It is separated into the different stages of a break up, with haikus that match.
I was beyond excited for this collection of haikus. As a poetry lover, I love to discover works that will express how I have or currently feel. But sadly it did not hit the spot with me. I am not sure if its poems that I didn't like or if I just am not a haiku person. Honestly, I think it might be both. Either way, I did not connect to it.
