The Janus Stone
by Elly Griffiths
3.5 stars This is a fun detective series for light reading. The main character is a rather simple, down-to-earth archaeologist who lives in a remote area in Norfolk County England. In each volume she gets involved with the police detectives using her expertise to lend assistance to their investigations. There is an underlying plot line about her personal life and you get to know the various characters that surround her. This is just fun, no great writing or deep thought, but good fluff for beach or bedtime.
