Proper literature! No surprises as to why it won the Booker Prize back in 2019. Also I cried like six times (cathartic cries, not sad ones)
10/10 would recommend EXCEPT for the perverse old woman?? That was gross and I doubt it really added anything to the narrative except maybe "every marriage has flaws" which wasn't a necessary addition in my opinion
