I adored Lux and Slate! This book is different from Ace Of Betrayal but I still loved it!
It took me a little longer (1 day) to get into this book compared to ace of betrayal but I think that’s cause I still had a book hangover with Heath and Walker!
The characters in this book seem more well rounded and complex but that could also be that it’s a sequel and got to build on previous characters. There’s also more emotions in this books (what can I say family’s are messy) (not her mom though HATE her)
Also the romance in this book is juicier than Ace and amazing. I was drooling 😂.
I was gifted and ARC copy of this book and am so glad I got to read it! I also can’t wait for Rhett’s book!!
Also still the tension between Pierce and Maeve (who reminds me of Amren from ACOTAR) is off the charts and I bet they will have a book and have crazy hate-sex.
