TW: Domestic Violence
A dark ,reflective , tense and gripping tale of how fanatically religious father ruins two children's childhoods. Set amidst the backdrop of political instability and a military coup in Nigeria.
Chimamanda has been a favourite author of mine so going into this book I was sure she would deliver with the same gripping storytelling and deliver she did. I finished this book in 3 days and boy was it a tense but interesting and an emotional book to have come across.
