I like that the series is continuing to have Spenser’s partner, Sarah Silverman, be part of the team; it seems like a natural evolution for the series. I also appreciate seeing Spenser stand up for people who are being taken advantage of, and helping to find actual justice where he can, despite the evidence implicating others.
