I would say read all other SGE books before this one so you can grasp what it is talking about. Plus there is some spoilers in the book. I did read ALL the books including the 0.5 book that I highly recommend. And I did watch the movie about the first book YESTERDAY because I wanted to. And it was the day it came out. (Yesterday was Oct. 19 Wed. 2022 so I remember). At least read the first SGE book before watching the movie.
