Edit Again: This is a 2. Sorry ☹️ I just didn’t like it enough to give it a 3.
Edit: I’m settling on a 3 (really between a 2.5 and a 3). I didn’t like the ending when we find out who the killer is. I also felt like the use of chalk was not completely explained or utilized. There was a graphic rape scene that really bothered me and I had to take a break after that. However, I love Tudor’s writing and the book was easy to follow. I liked the puzzle leading up to the end reveal and I’d still say this book has an audience. I prefer The Burning Girls but I also want to read other Tudor books!
