Stealth War: How China Took Over While America's Elite Slept by Robert Spalding

4.0

I rate it 4/5

Spalding experience in Security and military fields have made the book factual enough to made it's a great eye-opener.

From Historical standpoint, what China is doing now has been done with US for years. The Chinese strategies like loan shark, corporate espionage and mass surveillance which are portrayed by Spalding as predatory, they are also done by US. But the real concern of Spalding is that they fall at the hands of totalitarians-CCP, unlike American nonpartisan govt. As author does a good job by suggesting what America should do to stop, I expected [concerned with world democracy] to include advice to african countries, which are expected to face debt-trap, in projects like that of Sri-Lanka Port.

[From the book], the suprising truth is that, China is taking over with the help, greedy and myopic attitude of American Elite. In which i suggest a title of book should be 'Stealth War: How China Took Over With the Help and Greedy of American Elite'

The book is written simple language and its an easy read. Author has just included only important details and which has made a book not too lengthy unnecessarily.
