Well, it's a bit different from Halo, in a way how, the first book was basically just about Beth falling or Zack, then in comes Jake causing havoc. Which was great. The here's Hades, and its mainly focused on Beth surviving in hell, and how Gabriel, Ivy and Xavier are planning to get her out. Along the way, there are a few new characters, and the end is a bit of a cliff-hanger. There are certain parts of the novel, which are a bit...disturbing, like when Beth sees the pit, where souls are forever tortured. Its a big step, from the first novel, and might be hard for some to stay in tune with the novel. I liked it though.
