The depth of this book surprised me and I ended up loving it way more than I anticipated. The themes of grief, struggle through family relationships and forgiveness was really beautiful. I also really loved the holiday vibes. They were subtle but there and this book had a great understanding of loneliness around the holidays after loss. But what I loved most was the hope that this book brought. Family relationships can be hard but there is always hope. A wonderful read for Christmas time.
