I was super excited to dive back into my favorite book series.
Selena may be my favorite moon bound bride so far. I loved everything about her: her confidence, her sunshine nature, her wish to bring healing and happiness to the people around her. She’s the best, and I adored her from page one. Sturrm was an equally fascinating character, and I really enjoyed his character growth as their journey went on.
I must admit I was a little worried I wouldn’t like this romance as much as the others since I’m not a big fan of the “love after loss” trope. I was surprised by how much I ended up adoring their love story. His loss was handled with so much care and thoughtfulness, and while Selena was eager to woo Sturrm, they both took their time to get to know each other in a respectful and beautiful way.
As always, I loved the side characters and the AMAZING worldbuilding. I get so excited every time we get to discover new places and creatures in this universe. I seriously can’t wait to read the next one.
