I am SHOCKED I loved this book as much as I did. I was actually thinking I’d like this book the least because I knew it was Damon’s book, and from the first two he definitely wasn’t my favorite person. BUT seeing the depth of his character and his childhood really made me like him and have empathy for his character. I will say this one is VERY heavy so check TWs before going into it. But I really loved his character arc and redemption that he went through. And Winter? LOVE her. I appreciate the fact she has a disability and I thought the writing from her perspective was well done. The spice? WAS SPICING. The plot? Honestly I keep thinking I know all there is to know in these books and while I figured out some of the plot I was thrown by the twist at the end. I DID NOT see that coming. Overall I am now officially a Devil’s Night girlie bc if Penelope Douglas could make me like Damon, I am HOOKED and SOLD on this series. I love the found family vibe and how they’ve all come together and I wanna be besties with the girls in this series so bad. I can’t wait to start the next one.
