I'm amazed at how much depth Kacen Callender was able to put into this in just 350 pages. This is a beautiful story about trauma and healing set against a Hollywood backdrop. The fake dating, romance, and Hollywood parts of the story are fun and sweet but the true beauty of this story is the character (and relationship) growth and the mental health journey.  Look up trigger warnings if you need them because this is much heavier than a typical contemporary romance.
