Very interesting. Had to read it for my university class, and can’t say I regret it. The way Davis writes this historical event – an historical event she researched thoroughly – is more like a narrative. You forget it’s something that actually happened. It’s an amazing work of historiography, and it’s sure to perplex as much as it entertains!
