This is a pretty decent little King novella, certainly better than The Sun Dog which I read last week. I think the highlight for me was the illustrations which are great, but the ebook formatting was messed up and some of the illustrations appeared sooner than they were supposed to, spoiling certain events for me.
I did feel like it didn't actually read like King, he has a pretty distinctive writing style and I didn't really see that here. I haven't read a huge amount of his shorter fiction though so maybe that's just what his short fiction is like.
But overall it is pretty enjoyable and it was neat to read a werewolf story by King, I liked that it was a cyclical story too (one of my favorite elements of IT). It's super short too, you can easily read it in one sitting. I just wouldn't recommend reading it on Kindle because the illustrations look better with color (I read it on my phone instead).
