This book is the perfect introduction to dark romance for anyone who hasn't experienced the genre before. The humor peppered throughout keeps the story light in spite of the dark themes and tropes. If I could give this book 6 stars I would. Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe bring the most perfect emotional performances to the audio narration. There is a reason this was my favorite book of 2024 and why I have now listened to this audio 5 times.
Navessa Allen has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I would highly recommend reading this or any of her other books. The consistency in her writing between all her stories is just incredible.
