I couldn’t finish this one. I had a feeling I knew where things were headed with the main character and checked some spoilers to find I was right. So, I won’t be finishing this but I’ll be making sure I don’t pick it up again. A disappointing outing for sure; I don’t typically write about books I can’t finish but I wanted to note this in case I have the urge to pick it up again sometime later in life.
