Book Scavenger by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman

Book Scavenging is basically geocaching, but for books. Add ciphers as clues and you have a pretty amazing game! Through playing this game, the characters stumble upon a different bookish treasure hunt, but soon discover there are others after the treasure who will go to dangerous extremes to find it.
This is a fun, clean, middle grade read, but I loved that there are also some pretty great lessons in it as well. You could have many good discussions about friendship, family dynamics, and internet safety after reading this book with your kids.
