Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
Pointless trash. I enjoyed the author’s other books; she’s undeniably dark but can craft a really insightful and sharp book. This is not that; this is a torture porn movie masquerading as literary fiction. I suspect if the rating could be leavened by the folks who dnf this book, it would not be as high as it is.
