Paige and Adam's relationship was very quick to happen, I didn't really feel it. The plot was good, the topic was interesting. It could've been good, even with me not liking the book in the beginning. But the plot twist totally ruined it for me.
Simon was an asshole. And Lizzy... The audacity. The complete disregard for Paige's feelings. Paige had to figure how to deal with the situation, why couldn't Lizzy figure things out for herself? It was just... Oh you know what, Paige just lost the second love of her life. Let me be insensitive and bring up the situation and ask for her help on how to deal with this when I know it will hurt her. Meanwhile I'm living my best life with the love of my life who basically killed the love of her life. Yeah imma do that, great idea.
Fuck off Lizzy, and your insensitivity. Fuck off Simon and your assholeness, I want Adam back.
Honestly I hated it. I mean yes I cried, and I guess that was the point of the plot twist. Oh let's make it sad so they'll cry so they'll think it's a great book. No. It's not. I cried, it still sucks. It sucks especially because I cried. The book would've been good and interesting without the plot twist. It was unnecessary and mean. Not just to the readers but also to the characters.
