Persuasion, by Jane Austen

I went into this novel already loving Austen and Persuasion in many ways is an amalgamation of the best qualities of her novels. Austen’s humour is at times subtle and other times straightforward, and her characters are more well rounded and unique compared to the more allegorical characters like Marianne and Elinor.

Great novel, hilarious, must read classic.
