You Don't Know Me by Imran Mahmood

3.0

This was my first experience of listening to an audio book, so it took me a while to get through it.

I really enjoyed the story all the way until the very end. I know that the premise of the plot and story is to put the reader into the position of having to listen and to form an opinion on the guilt or otherwise of the main character who is giving his own closing speech at the end of his trial for murder, however, the ending felt too abrupt to me and I would have preferred a more satisfactory outcome.

Had it not been for the ending, I would definitely have given it four stars. The writing is strong and it does make you question your own thoughts and perceptions. I enjoyed those elements very much.
