This book is frank, weird, funny, and well-written. I oscillated a bit on it—there were bits I was obsessed with, that struck me as profoundly original and endlessly interesting, but there were some sentiments that felt a little repetitive or stale. The flow of the writing itself also oscillated in this way for me. As a side note, I want to reread this in a few years, I think the proximity of the pandemic did sour the occasional mentions of it for me.
