The Bailey clan delivers yet another hit of a story!
This installment focuses on Denver Bailey, a notorious playboy bush pilot who never believed he's cut out for commitment. He meets his match in Cleo Dawson, a rich girl from Dallas who can't seem to find her place and purpose, as they become partners in a business Cleo's father let them both inherit.
I loved this story! It went with the enemies to lovers with forced proximity route and honestly, I eat that up every single time. Denver was such a sweet hero who completely defied his notorious playboy status. I loved seeing Cleo find her place in Lake Starlight and recognize that she finally found her home. I loved seeing the both of them initially fight their attraction for each other because of their business partner status but start to evidently wear their hearts on their sleeves. And as usual, the family dynamics in this series remains to be gold!
This book teases the next Bailey sibling's story and I can't wait to dive in for more!
