Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann

dark informative mysterious medium-paced

4.5

Very enlightening as to what life in this time period was like. It was basically the last remnants of the wild west, a good reminder that life as we know it is still pretty new and a good example of white supremacy in it's worst forms. It's sad and messed up what was allowed to happen to the Osage, the Us government basically giving white people permission to swindle them, and not doing much when they got murdered.

The murder conspiracy is so wild, on the level of sleepy hollow. The people in this book are interesting too, outlaws, indian chiefs, millionaires and alcoholics, wolves in sheep's clothing. Really interesting book.
