I savored this book, much like the lovely food descriptions inside. As someone who lost a parent to cancer, I found solace in this. The way Michelle tried to find pieces of her mom in her belongings, in those closest to her, and in photographs was heartbreakingly relatable. Thanks for writing this. Everyone go stream Psychopomp or better yet buy the vinyl.
