If the synopsis of the book seems strange to you just read it anyways. This is probably the most approachable Sci-fi novel ever. I honestly went into it think it was contemporary and still loved it. Hank Green just manages to provide such a thought provoking commentary on virality, fame, relationships, and humanity by presenting it all is such a contemporary but alien (pun intended) situation. Please just read this book!!
