Ok, not great. I mean, it was a thriller and murder mystery, but I figured out the ending. There were at least a couple of places where readers are left hanging, and for a short book there was a significant amount of time given to the sound of a fist hitting a punching bag. If you like mysteries and thrillers, it’s definitely not the worst, but I’ve enjoyed others more. Also, the way the psychiatrist tried to get into the head of the killer is a littler weird and creepy. Not my favorite. I think this would be a great movie, but only an ok book.

It was mentioned as a trigger warning so I didn’t take away any stars for this, but it is about a serial killer that goes after young boys and I just was not able to cope as well as I thought I was. Super sad and icky.
