DNF: (After some reflection)
On a relief/hope driven week, I realize reading about a bunch of a**holes probably wasn’t the best reading mood match. Who am I rooting for? Nobody.
And when I start piffling complaints like- how many times has the MC has used the word “queer”- it’s probably best I step back. We all know Goodreads doesn’t need another snarky review.
I swear I like big books- but I couldn’t get hooked into this world the way I wanted. On to the next book!
