I've really been looking forward to this book as I love Persephone and Hades. It was a quick read and I was able to knock it out over the weekend. I enjoyed the twist to the plot and the modern day setting in addition to the portrayal of the characters and introduction to other Gods who aren't commonly shared.

While the book was fast paced, I did struggle with how random some of the spicy scenes were. Don't get me wrong, I love a good spicy scene, but I like it to fit into the conversation being had, the emotions, etc. in that chapter. I do plan on reading the rest of the series.
