I’m having trouble putting my thoughts into a cohesive review, so here is a list of plus/minuses.

- Not QUITE insta-love, and there’s a reason for it, but ick.

+ Very satisfying ending. The best part of the book.

+ Nina is appropriately unlikeable.

- Millie is very middle-of-the-road for me throughout most of the book. I didn’t like or dislike her.

+ Finished in a day which helped me catch up on my reading challenge.

+ The multiple twists come on quickly…

- …but not until the final 1/3 of the book.

- Some of the twists are not all that twisty.

Writing this list out, it’s pretty clear that my gut feeling of “meh” is accurate. Clearly I don’t have a ton of thoughts on it. It’s a serviceable psychological thriller with a good ending.
