The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan

4.0

Another smashing theology series is slayed by the great Rick Riordan.
As I was reading this book it occurred to me the amount Riordan has to do to write such books. And apart from that the poor man has to create a plot, characters, build a whole new world and fill in gaps where history is a bit blank. Seriously just try to read a Wikipedia page about a simple Egyptian god and odds are you will nod off. So thumbs up to Riordan for making theology interesting and super funny.
Carter and Sadie finish their adventure in this third and final book as they track down the shadow of the serpent and attempt a deadly spell. The loose knots are also tied up, like who does Sadie end up with, does Carter finally get to date Zia and if Ra is restored to his full power.
