When I'm reading a book like this, I typically don't care too much about the writing but the writing in this boo was breathtaking. This was my first Gillian Flynn book and I am looking forward to diving into more of their work.
With only about 5% of the book left, I began drafting my review of this book, putting emphasis on the fact I was able to predict the killer from the first 1/3 of the book but boy oh boy. The twist at the end NEVER even crossed my mind. I know it should have, all the warning signs were there but I guess I was so stuck on my prediction that I glossed over them.
