There were three major story arcs in this slim volume. One wrapped up loose ends with Tic. The first one was my favorite, with Carol's flerken/cat, Carol bickering with Harrison -- her ship's OS, warp bear juice, and Tic's spunk. The second was a Black Vortex crossover, which had interesting elements but TOO MANY elements, and really, I know Marvel wants me to BUY ALL THE COMICS, but seriously. If you want me to start buying The Legendary Star Lord now, I need a little more reason to invest.
The final story arc brings Carol back to Earth and wraps up all the rest of the loose ends. There was a lot to like here, too, but it felt a little rushed.
I hear this is the end of DeConnick's Captain Marvel, which is sad. This is what brought me back into superhero comics int he first place. Now what?
